Who We Are / Stasys “Stas” Puskorius
Resident Engineer
Stas was born in Kretinga, Lithuania. While his Mother was taking care of Stas and his four siblings at home, his Father was working as a Carpenter, restoring antique furniture, and building houses. Stas picked up his Father’s talent for wood working and a love for construction.
After graduating High School, he attended the Higher Military Command Electronics School in Vilnius, with a focus on Radar Technologies. He graduated with Honors and was among four students from his class recognized nationally for his academic achievements. He worked for ten years as an Automatic Control Systems Operations Engineer.
Stas emigrated to the United States in May of 2000. His skills as a Master Carpenter found him ample work building and renovating many elegant private residences, as well as restoring Historic Landmarks in and around the Chicago area and the prestigious North Shore. His attention to detail is evident in all of the beautiful work that he does to compliment the projects and designs of The Earth Tire Foundation.

There you will find our “Ask Stas!” feature, where Stas gives expert advice and details to help you with any of the "Kinda-Do-It-Yourself" Earth Tire Projects. You can download any of his blueprints and bring them to your favorite hardware store. In addition to diagrams, he has listed every single thing that you’ll need for each project, down to the suggested size of nuts and bolts to be used in assembly. Don’t miss it!
